My Role:
Branding & Packaging Designer (Concept Project)

Astrida is a concept non-alcoholic beverage brand offering elevated drinks with complex, unique flavours. Inspired by the atmosphere of a retro beach party, the brand was created for design-conscious creatives who value quality, individuality, and local culture.

The project focused on developing a vibrant and playful visual identity that captured Astrida’s nostalgic personality while creating a premium feel across branding and packaging applications.

Research & Direction

The creative direction was inspired by vintage beach culture, combining nostalgic references with a contemporary approach to appeal to a modern, design-focused audience.

I explored how colour, typography, and illustration could work together to create a distinctive brand personality while ensuring the identity remained cohesive across different packaging formats. A key focus throughout the process was balancing expressive visual elements with clear communication of essential product information.

Design & Rationale

The visual identity was built around a vibrant colour palette, playful typography, and vintage-inspired graphic elements to reflect Astrida’s energetic and unconventional character.

A significant focus of the packaging design process was refining typography, layout, and information hierarchy. I carefully considered the placement and readability of key product details, including nutritional information and required packaging content, ensuring the designs remained visually engaging while being clear and functional.

The final packaging system balanced creativity with practical design considerations, creating a cohesive brand experience.

Results

This project allowed me to develop a complete brand identity and packaging system from concept through to final applications. It strengthened my ability to combine creative exploration with structured design thinking, particularly in typography, layout, and visual communication.
